Sripada Rajam Saranam Prapadhye.
Anonymous sripada devotee is sharing a wonderful experience which proves swamy’s saying “ Just like an eye lid , I will protect the person who is dedicated to me through Mind , word and Deed”.
I am a very recent and very very very small devotee of Sripada Srivallabha. One day while going through a religious website I learnt about siddha mangala stotra. I searched more and more about it and came to know about Sripada Srivallabha. I bought Sripada Srivallabha Charitamrutam book and did its parayan also. Now everyday I am reciting siddha mangala stotra, datta stavam and datta gayatri mantra. Although this incident might seem very small but for me its a very big incident. You can keep my name anonymous.
My experience goes like this. My routine is such that I do my pooja very early in the morning between 4am-5.30 am. My temple is within the boundary of my house still it is outside my house. Everyday when I step out of my house to go towards my temple I say Jai guru dev datta or datta digambara. Today also I said jai guru dev datta and when I switched on the light of my temple I saw a centipede moving and hiding under the cloth I use to clean the place where I light diyas. Since its monsoon season it must have come from the plants. Usually I just enter the temple and pick up the cloth without bothering to check it. But due to god dattatreya and our dear child sripada I saw its tail when it was just about to hide. I somehow managed to throw the cloth out of the temple with a stick. Had it not been for datta then today that poisonous insect would have surely bitten me. I was so overwhelmed that I was almost about to cry at how my child Sripada stood by his words that he will not let any harm whether small or big come to his devotees. Jai Sripada/ Jai guru dev Datta.
Jai Gurudatta.
